Gingerbread House

This is going to be part one of a very long series of holiday related posts...

On black friday at Home Depot, they had this Gingerbread Kit as a special. Knowing Aiden's love of Home Depot, we figured we had to get it. It's been kicking around the house since then and we finally decided to put it together with Aiden (and Ava!) on Christmas Eve morning.

Getting started

 

So excited!!

It wasn't the best quality, but being that it was for the kids, I don't think they even noticed. They enjoyed putting it together, with Jacob's help of course and most of all, LOVED decorating it. In fact, we caught Ava sucking the icing/frosting out of the tube as we were decorating. (Then also caught her today sneaking candy off of it from the counter when we weren't looking!)
